Painting the wheels

Not going to go with the purple route anymore, it just won't look right with a red car.

Stopped at pepboys and got the supplies.

Before cleaning

After cleaning, sort of hard to tell the difference, but a lot of dirt and grime came up off of it.

Masking, this took about 15 minutes to do one wheel.......

Multiple thin coats of self etching primer, oddly this color actually looks awesome when its dry, its a flat army-green tone.

Here is where the picture quality starts to decline, it was getting dark out and had to rely on my camera flash.

Took one inside, looks a little better but the flash is killing me.

Unmasked it, the polished part of the wheel is in not so good condition, and i really can't be fucked to fix it, i'm just going to put some acrylic laquer over the entire wheel for now and hope for the best, these are only temporary wheels.

Another angle, note the pile of datsun parts behind it

I'll get some better photos up tomorrow when its daylight

Here you go, better pictures in the daylight
